Technology

Electrical Technician - Home Automation Device Installer

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, setup, and maintenance of devices and systems for home automation;
  • Designing electrical schematics and installations related to automation systems;
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in installed systems;
  • Conducting tests and trials on installed devices to ensure their functionality and safety.
  • Training clients on the use and maintenance of installed systems;
  • Maintaining documentation for performed installations, repairs, and tests;
  • Collaborating with other team members and participating in projects to improve installation processes;
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service and maintaining professional relationships with clients;
  • Complying with all regulatory and company safety requirements when working with electrical devices and systems.

Requirements:

  • Completed secondary or higher education in the field of electrical engineering or related specialties;
  • Professional experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and devices;
  • Knowledge of working with home automation devices and systems;
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation;
  • Computer literacy and skills in working with various software for managing automation systems;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with clients;
  • High level of responsibility and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Driving license category B and willingness to travel to client sites.
Technical Account Manager - 3rd Party Integrations

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction;
  • Understand clients' business objectives and technical needs to deliver tailored solutions and drive value;
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting to resolve client issues promptly;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions;
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend enhancements;
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to foster long-term client relationships and drive business growth;
  • Monitor and manage client feedback, implementing corrective actions to address any concerns or issues;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations to clients.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical account management or similar role;
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software engineering, IT solutions, and systems integration;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proven experience in managing and growing client relationships;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously;
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.

Hardware Engineer 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the features of the new products and participate in the creation of their architecture (diagrams, modules, etc.);
  • Analyze the specific requirements for every module(block) and create proof-of-concept scenarios (schematics);
  • To create a circuit diagram of the device, choosing the right components complying with various requirements - electrical characteristics, price-performance, power consumption, physical size, etc.;
  • Designing the PCB of the product considering the mechanical requirements;
  • Participate in stages of certification of the products;
  • Take the main role in preparing the product for production.
     

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience in the development of analog and digital electronics;
  • Experience in PCB-CAD and 3D tools;
  • Knowledge of design and production flows.
Shelly Scripting Academy Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Shelly ecosystem products and solutions.
    Understand and apply the latest trends, technologies, and developments within the Shelly ecosystem to training programs;
  • Define clear learning objectives and outcomes for each training session;
  • Identify and segment target participant cohorts based on their skills and knowledge levels.
    Ensure alignment between training content and participants' needs;
  • Coordinate, source, and collaborate with Shelly marketing and technology teams to develop comprehensive training materials;
  • Integrate practical examples and case studies to enhance participant understanding;
  • Regularly update training content on Shelly’s website, reflecting past, present, and upcoming sessions.
    Work closely with Shelly marketing to promote training sessions and ensure broad reach and participation;
  • Recruit instructors with strong teaching abilities and relevant industry experience;
  • Ensure instructors can effectively communicate and adapt to diverse learning styles;
  • Select and coordinate appropriate training venues with necessary facilities (e.g., projectors, internet access);
  • Manage all logistical aspects, including scheduling, registration, and accommodation if required.
    Incorporate interactive elements such as Q&A sessions, group discussions, and hands-on exercises to foster engagement;
  • Facilitate self-help support platforms to provide ongoing assistance;
  • Implement assessments to measure participants’ learning progress and overall training effectiveness.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from each session to continuously improve training offerings;
  • Gather feedback on products, technology, and platforms to inform future developments;
  • Manage the budget for training materials, venues, and instructor fees;
  • Ensure access to the required technology and tools necessary for effective training delivery.
    Coordinate all necessary contracts, annexes, and other documents with Shelly Group's Legal team.
    Ensure that the “Terms and Conditions” are updated and agreed upon before each Academy campaign.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of the Shelly ecosystem;
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, SCM systems, and home automation control systems and APIs;
  • Experience in organizing training programs or knowledge-sharing events;
  • Experience in learning content creation;
  • Strong project management skills, especially in technical projects;
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Embedded JavaScript Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Implement smart device functionality using JavaScript;
  • Research, assess and review other smart devices available on the market;
  • Develop, adapt and test custom functionalities in smart appliances for a wide range of new devices based on the Shelly X product line;
  • Maintain the internal ecosystem around the new product line;
  • Communicate extensively with the other teams and functional groups within the organization to deliver high-quality products to the customers.

Requirements:

  • Passion to learn and create;
  • JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge - both in-browser and server-side;
  • Understanding of base concepts in software development;
  • High sense of responsibility, motivation, and result-driven attitude;
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written.
